Birthday Sundaes Challenge #39

We have a photo inspiration challenge for you this week at Birthday Sundaes.  Here is the picture:

You must also include a snowman on your card. 

For some reason, this challenge was very tricky for me.  But, that's why it's called a challenge:)  I'm looking forward to seeing your ideas on a snowman birthday card! 

Here is my card:

The snowman and penguin are from the Winter Frolic cart, the base is from Elegant Edges using the book layer, the sentiment and the party hat are from Something to Celebrate.

I added some stickles to the sentiment.  It doesn't show up too well in the pictures, but I like how chunky and glittery the stickles turn out.

Christmas Card

Hello! Today I got together with my best friend, Jennifer Ruiz, and we each made some projects for challenges! It was so fun getting together with someone who loves to craft!

I was so happy with the final result for my card.  At first I made the base so huge that my little creatures didn't even show up.  Does this happen to anyone else? Or am I just a mess?  :)

The edges are all inked with my brand new Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink.  This stuff IS as good as I heard.  It's kind of hard to see it in the pictures :(

Looks like these penguins took a joy ride! 

My husband said that it would be funny if they looked like they all pilled up and one was upside down.  You can see him better here-

Jennifer was kind enough to supply me with some Baker's Twine.  It adds so much detail!  I need to get some ASAP!
