Thanks a Latte!

I had some time to craft today after work.  This sketch from Peachy Keen looked like a lot of fun.  I have to admit that I struggle with sketches, but I love using them because they make me work out of my element and produce something I wouldn't have thought of.

For my card today I used the Love You A Latte cart.  I have been wanting to use this cut of a coffee cup for a while.  This cart is a must have! The images are really cute and who doesn't love caffein and sweets?

I wanted this cup to look like it came from Starbucks.  Had to use my favorite face from the Princess Face Assortment, she is so cute!

I made the sentiment with the Country Life cart and the word "latte" is from the Love You A Latte cart.

It's time for a Birthday Sundaes challenge! This week the challenge is to use buttons on your card.  Super easy!

I found these cute buttons at Michael's just in time for this challenge.  They came in a cute container in a variety of colors and sizes for $1.  I can't believe I didn't have any buttons in my stash.

Here is my card: 

This preppy sheep is on her way to a birthday party.  

The sheep came from Create a Critter.  Her sweater is just the gray layer that was cut in pink and trimmed to look like a sweater.

Do you see her gift bag?  I cut a square and wanted to put real tissue in the bag.  I didn't have tissue paper, so I found a plastic grocery bag and cut a small piece and arranged it to look like tissue.  I love how it looks.  I hope you can see the detail, it looks much better in person.  The handle is made with twine.

I added pop dots to give the card more dimension.  The card base is from the I Love You a Latte cart.  The punch is from SU! and the pattern paper is from DCWV.
