Birthday Sundaes Challenge #27

For my GIVEAWAY please click HERE.

The challenge for Birthday Sundaes this week is to make a belated birthday card.  You can join in on the fun here.  Don't forget to check out the awesome work by the DT and our guest designer Sabrina.

Poor White Rabbit, he is always running late, and now he is late to the Queen's birthday party!

I love this Disney Classics cart, it has very cute images on it!  The clock I used for the card base is from the Sophisticated cart.  The cupcake and the punch around the sentiment are from SU! The sentiment is from my very creative husband :)

Last year I read Alice in Wonderland to my second graders and they fell in love with the characters. This rabbit is very special to me because he is in my classroom too! I cut him out at the biggest size I could get him and had him hold our classroom clock.  Not my genius idea...my husband is super creative!

My kids love seeing him holding the clock!

I will be adding pictures of my classroom to my blog soon.  I love seeing how people use their Cricut in different ways.  I can definitely say that my Cricut has made a huge difference in my classroom!

Thank you for visiting!

Birthday Sundaes Challenge #22- Brads

We have a really fun challenge for you at Birthday Sundaes! The challenge is to make a birthday card using at least three brads.  Easy and fun!

Please stop by and take a look at the design team's cards for inspiration. This week we also have Laurie from Scraps By Sissy as our guest designer!

This is my card:

Ever since I saw this sentiment I kept thinking of Thumper from Bambi.

I placed one brad on his birthday hat and three more brads on the inner corners of the card.  I faux stitched around the rectangle and parts of Thumper's body.  I wanted it to look like he was a stuffed animal.

This sentiment says "Hoppy Birthday."  I heat embossed it in white.  I love his expression!

Here is a side view:

The base was welded together from the Elegant Edges cart.

Recipe:
Disney Classics: Thumper
Simply Charmed: Party Hat
Elegant Edges: Scalloped Rectangle
Pink By Design: Sentiment
DCVW: Polka Dot Paper
Recollections: Blue, yellow and black card stock
SU!: Whisper White embossing powder
