Birthday Sundaes Challenge #45

Good morning! We are back with another Birthday Sundaes challenge for you! This week our challenge is for you to get messy! Use inks, paints, misting to create your birthday card.
Our sponsor for this week is Couture Stamping by Candice Fields, an independent CTMH consultant and former Birthday Sundaes DT Member! Candice is giving away the CTMH Fashionista stamp set! Candice is also offering Birthday Sundaes fans a 10% discount during this challenge. You can find her store HERE and her blog HERE. To receive the discount, please email your order directly to Candice at stampinpearls at gmail . com (remove the spaces).

This was a real challenge for me, but I finally got to a technique I've been wanting to use for a very long time!  I took white card stock and inked it with Tim Holtz Spun Sugar.  I will admit it didn't look too great at this point, but then I took my mixture of Perfect Pearls and water in my mini mister and sprayed it.  WOW!!! It looked amazing! The color is beautiful and there are little splotches of ink and pearls all over the place.

I hope you can see it here:
I wish the color would show up the way it looks in real life.  It's the prettiest color I've ever seen!

I heat embossed the window stamp from SU! and punched the window with a coordinating punch.  The edges were inked with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink.

I finished it off with striped embossing, twine and this beautiful rose! This rose is from Close To My Heart's Art Philosophy cart.  Seriously the most gorgeous flower I've seen on a cartridge.  I also sprayed it with the Perfect Pearls solution to give it some shimmer.  It's very difficult to see on the white, sorry :(

Please stop by Birthday Sundaes and check out the DT's creations for more inspiration!
