My goddaughter just turned three and she had a Little Mermaid themed party!! Cutest party ever! I got to make her her birthday cake. This has become a tradition each year, I included some pictures of this cake here too.
This is the card I made. I had plans for something a little fancier, but we had a disaster with the cake and I ended up making a new one and stayed up with my sister-in-law till 3 in the morning!
so this is the card I ended up making:
The base is from Art Philosophy as are the circles.
The image of Ariel is from Dreams Come True.
Here is a side view so that you can see the dimension on it. The sentiment is from CTMH. It came in a bundle with the Art Philosophy cartridge.
This cake was so difficult to do, but it was worth it. It tied the whole party together.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
My Craft Spot: Shaped Birthday Card
More Than Favors: Circles
Cardz Tv: Anything Goes
Super cute little mermaid! Great shape too! I hope you will come over and enter this at the CCR shape card challenge deets are on my right sidebar!

How perfect! My daughter thought she could turn into a mermaid by eating tons of fishsticks when she was younger. That didn't happen, but maybe she will nmarry a prince charming when she gets older. : )

I love the card! I'm such a Disney fan too and Little Mermaid was my favorite as a child. I used to sing the songs from the movie all the time. The cake turned out great. I made a Mickey Mouse one and it was a lot of work too!
