Buggy Apple

This is a back to school project.  I am a teacher so when I think of school, I think of seeing my friends again and how we help each other out.

When I graduated my mother in law gave me a tape holder with a worm sticking out of an apple! Inspiration central!! I made my card and was ready to post it yesterday, but I forgot my camera at work so I couldn't :( Then today I had it all ready just to find out that blogger was down:( I was so happy to finally be able to post it!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Here is my card:

This helpful little worm will come out whenever you need help:)

OMG! Look at this cute wormy face! I added glossy accents to her eyes and they look all juicy!

Here is a side view.  I faux stitched it all around, embossed the background with a polka dot folder and heat embossed the sentiment.

I finished it up by adding a twine bow and some pop dots for dimension.
Recipe:
Create a Critter: Apple, worm
Wild Card: Scalloped card base
Cricut Classic Font: Circle
My Creative Time: Sentiment-My Favorite Sayings
Peachy Keen Stamps: Worm Face- Large Set
Twinery: Maraschino

Thank you for visiting!

  8. I love the card. It's so cute. Is that from the critter set? If so, I can't wait! I'm getting my order in sometime this week. I also ordered more cricut mats and the Flower Shoppe cartridge. I was inspired by your video and post.

That's so crazy how many challenges you were able to enter it into. There are a lot of back to school challenges, which are perfect for us teachers!!!
