Yellow Flower Card

Hello everyone!  Tonight I made a card for my grandmother.  I had wanted to try to make a 3D flower for a long time so I thought this might be the perfect chance.  It doesn't look like what I had imagined, but I loved the end result.  It kind of looks like a rose.

The flower came from the Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge.  It's the same flower cut 6 times in different sizes.  After cutting them I embossed them (It's hard to tell in the pictures) and inked the edges with pink ink. I also curled the edges to give it more dimension and added some leaves, also from Mother's Day Bouquet.

I welded two squares from Birthday Bash together to make the card base. The corners were already rounded.

I realized quickly that I need more sentiments to add to my cards!

Recipe:
Yellow paper: Recollections
Gray textured paper: Stormy Gray from Coredinations
Flower and leaves: Mother's Day Bouquet
Square: Birthday Bash
