I decided to make her invitations. After all, this baby is going to be my godson so this has to be special :)
Here are the invitations:
I chose the criss cross card because it looks cute but it's easy to reproduce. I had to make over 30 of these!
I decorated the outside of the envelopes with the stamps from the stamp set. I got this set from Joann's, I believe it's made by Fiskars.
Here are most of them. The rest were with the future mommy.
I think my favorite part of the whole card was painting the stork and baby. I've never tried my water brush till now and it was so easy to use and it looked beautiful!
I've missed blogging and crafting! I've got to get into my craft room more often. Things have been crazy busy but they are slowing down now so I should have more time on my hands soon:)
Thanks for visiting!
You criss cross baby invites are awesome! You little stork is adorable and I love how you stamped on the outside envelopes too! Super cute! I am sure the shower will be a hit. Yeh, they are a lot of work, but the outcome is so darling! Great job!

ReplyDeleteHello Brenda,
DeleteI got this water brush from Joanns. I'm not sure what the brand is but it's yellow. I think it's the only one that they had available.
