Stampin' Up Blossom Box- Mission Impossible

I'm still not able to walk due to my broken foot, so this challenge at Krafty Girls came just at the right time!  Our challenge for this time around is called Mission Impossible.  The inspiration for this challenge came from Ms. Cyndy (AKA Arcy Scraps) from the DT.  Her husband went and used her Cricut while she slept and he made a partial Mickey Mouse!! It's cute and funny, you can see her post here.  So I showed my husband that post and he said that Mr. Arcy got a lot farther than he would have if he had to use my Cricut :) I told him one day I would have him make something, and he ran away.  That's when the idea of "Mission Impossible" was born:)

So the idea for this challenge is not to intimidate our loved ones, but to have fun and share the love of crafting with our friends and family.  It can be as simple as then helping you cut something, emboss, design, or anything else that helps you finish your project.

For this project my husband and I used my brand new Blossom Box from Stampin' Up.  I wanted this die for a LONG time but I didn't know if I would like it.  Well...luckily for me I saw it in the clearance rack the other day for under $20!!! I ran and grabbed my credit card and purchased it right there and then.  I'm so happy that I did because I absolutely love it!

My BFF is having a baby and I am starting to think of things for her baby shower.  I'm thinking this may be a really cute option!

Here is our project:
So since I can't walk, my husband was extra handy in my craft room for this challenge ;) My room is a complete mess and my husband helped me out by grabbing all the supplies that we needed, made the sandwich for my Big Shot, and cut the two sides of this Blossom Box for me.  You should have seen his face when he ran the die through the Big Shot and he heard the plates cracking!  He was sure he had destroyed my die and the machine!  I forgot how scary it can seem when you don't have experience using it.

I finished it off by adding some ribbon from Michael's (99 cents) and a my favorite flower from the Art Philosophy cartridge.  What a difference these two things made!

This favor is just the right size!  You can see how big it is next to this container of glitter.

My husband and I had a great time making this project!  I can't wait to see how what you come up with your loved ones!  Make sure you stop by and visit the Krafty Girls DT HERE and get to crafting with your friends and family:)

Thanks for visiting!
