Project Earth

Good morning! We are back with a Krafty Girls challenge called: Project Earth.

For this challenge you can create a project with an Earth Day them or use something recycled.  Easy and fun!
Please make sure to visit the Krafty Girls right HERE for more inspiration and enter your project today:)

I am so happy to have get back in my craftroom! With testing and parent nights, it's been hectic and I've had less time to craft and blog :( We only have 6 1/2 weeks left of school though and then I'll have all the time in the world again:)

Here is my project:

This is a two-for-one project :) Heading into testing season I also needed a testing sign.  During tests someone always manages to walk into my room and distracts my students while they are testing. Yikes! So when I made my Earth Day project I was thinking of how nice it would be to keep it in my room year round.

Well, I looked at the back of the wallhanging and realized I had the entire back to work with! So I used my Gypsy and welded letters onto this purple side and voila! Testing sign.  This side isn't as cute as the Earth Day side, but it gets the job done!

  1. Maribel!!! I LOVE how this does two jobs! And I remember YEARS AND YEARS ago doing the testing and when other teachers walked in, it would through me off! I think thats such a GREAT thing for your students, AND it shows you care about the Earth!!!

  4. Ooohhm I didn't even know it had a surprise in the back even when i saw it in person. I would hate to put something so beautiful outside during a test, but the front looks so adorable to have hanging up.
