Birthday Sundaes Challenge #23- Color Challenge

Hello!  This week at Birthday Sundaes we have a pink, green, and white challenge for you.  You can also use neutrals as needed.  This is one of my favorite color schemes ever! You can see that in my previous work, and most likely in lots of my future work too :)

This week Sue is generously offering the prize for the winner of this challenge.  It's a large Oval Scallops Nestabilities set. Please stop by and check out the DT's beautiful work and enter your card here

Here is my card:

Can you believe that most of this flower was meant to be green?  Yeah, I couldn't believe it either!  I basically cut this flower twice.  One in green and one in pinks.  I then cut the top of the flower off at the base of the stem and adhered the pink flower in its place.  So much prettier!

I heat embossed the sentiment and dry embossed the background with a SU! Stripes folder.

I also popped up the flower and added some stitching all around the card and some parts of the flower. Here is another view of this card.

This is Kristie's birthday month and our challenges are based around her favorite things.  This color scheme is awesome!!  I love this card!!

Happy Birthday Kristie!
